Nice presentation. What? None of them have a Camelbak or Nathan though? I guess that would be for a different ad :)?
One of the runners in the ad - Skaggs - he had to be hosptalized after the Where'e Waldo run this past year for some serious Kidney issues I believe. He looked like he has recovered. We won the race though.
You know I loved it! Not too much of a trail runner, just because I don't have great assess to them, but love the thought of trail running. (also, this time of year, you can easily get shot running in the woods. Just this week someone was shot riding horses on trails near the coast.)
They should have had Matt Carpenter in the ad. Do you know him? He was at USM, when we were there. He & Chad(my hubby) ran cross country and track together. Matt was a senior, we were freshman.
Ginny - We don't "know" Matt C but we see him at local races. Seems like a decent guy. WAYYYYY TOOO FAST for us to ever run with - Holy Cow is he ever fast. How in the heck do you mistake a horse and rider as hunting prey????
We love trail running and biking in the mountains of Colorado and the desert Southwest. We enjoy spending time together, seeing new places, and meeting people who enjoy the outdoors like we do! We were thrown a little bit of a curve ball in March 2011 when Kathleen was diagnosed with Graves Disease, an auto-immune thyroid disorder. After trying to treat the disease with an anti-thyroid drug for a year and not achieving the results we had hoped for, she had radio-active iodine treatment (RAI) in February 2012 and is now in "wait and see" mode. We hope to have her back up and heading toward normal function some time during the summer of 2012 and back to true Happy Trailing. It has caused a little change of pace (slower) and a bit of a temporary life 'detour'. This is new and unexpected territory so the journey should be interesting, challenging, and hopefully still fun!
'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.'
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.-John Wesley

Thanks for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving as well!
Nice video. It worked, too. I am running tomorrow. Maybe a lot!
Happy Thanksgiving, you two. We all have so much to be thankful for!
