Nice, snowy pictures! That will make running more interesting!
The Denver marathon officially adjusted out chip times, shaving 57 seconds off my time. Thank you for the heads up on the course possibly being too long! : )
Seriously!?! You guys have snow already:) I agree with Jennifer....snow shoes are a must! I am hoping to try snow shoes this winter and see how it works for cross training:)
We love trail running and biking in the mountains of Colorado and the desert Southwest. We enjoy spending time together, seeing new places, and meeting people who enjoy the outdoors like we do! We were thrown a little bit of a curve ball in March 2011 when Kathleen was diagnosed with Graves Disease, an auto-immune thyroid disorder. After trying to treat the disease with an anti-thyroid drug for a year and not achieving the results we had hoped for, she had radio-active iodine treatment (RAI) in February 2012 and is now in "wait and see" mode. We hope to have her back up and heading toward normal function some time during the summer of 2012 and back to true Happy Trailing. It has caused a little change of pace (slower) and a bit of a temporary life 'detour'. This is new and unexpected territory so the journey should be interesting, challenging, and hopefully still fun!

Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.-John Wesley

you probably will hate me for saying this but ..... Yah! for snow in the Colorado rockies! We need your melted snow to fill up Lake Mead!

Snow shoes?...
Oh my god! You got a lot of snow!! We saw some flakes, but that was it - looks like we'll get more tomorrow! Time to dig out the winter gear...
We got spoiled for so long, now back to reality
This is something I don't know well. We've only had snow three times in my 47 year life.

Tuesday morning, 6AM, at the CC track was 50 degrees and clear skies. Tuesday night was cold and snowing. Is it May yet?
Brutal!
We've had snow a few times. Pretty pictures but I know I am not quite ready for it either.
WOW, that was a quick weather change. Brrr...I almost died in NYC from the cold. Just how long would I last in Colorado do you think?
Great photos...
